What is a Macro?

A macro is used to automate tasks that you perform repeatedly or on a regular basis. It is a series of commands and actions that can be stored and run whenever you need to perform the task.

The primary benefit, among others, is that a macro saves you time. It can perform detailed repetitive tasks, sometimes in minutes, what would take hours to accomplish by hand.

Macro Express
Macro Express is the tool used to create macros. Use the Capture function to record your macro steps for easy macro creation or write the macros in the Script Editor. No programming skills are necessary.

Macro Express may be used for a variety of purposes. Anything that you do repetitively on the computer is a prime candidate for a macro. This can range from simple items such as inserting blocks of text or opening a web site to more complex macros such as transferring data from one application to another.

Our Uses page provides examples of how Macro Express will benefit you.
